SPARK

Each day of Spark starts with a “Pre-Charge.” We then roll into our “Align” portion where you will spend some time doing a yoga/mobility flow that also includes some pre-habilitation and re-habilitation movements. The next part of class is where we work on dumbbell and kettlebell movements focusing on basic coordination, balance, and strength, improving your “Balance” overall. Then we’ll work on “Burn,” a 25-35 minute interval/circuit full of bodyweight movements, medicine balls, kettlebells, dumbbells, and ‘cardio’ (jump rope, rowing, etc.).

Finally, we’ll wrap up with some optional “Bonus” work where we’ll do some intelligent core work and extra glute/hamstring drills.

Straight up fat-burning, rhythm based spin class. A 45 minute intense, sweaty cardiovascular workout!

Kickboxing

Weyburn MMA Club strives to provide quality Mixed Martial Arts for all skill levels. We teach in a fun and friendly environment that enables students to develop their skills with no pressure. Classes consist of a warmup and drilling session, followed by instructional, and ending off with time for sparring or for practice.

Adult Kickboxing is a stand up combat sport based on kicking and punching. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport. Weyburn MMA utilizes kickboxing as a striking base for our MMA program.

Weyburn MMA has adopted the Global Taekwando Federations form of Martial Arts to develop our striking program for kids. Students follow the same discipline as taught throughout the program.

Jujitsu

Adults and Kids.

Weyburn MMA Club strives to provide quality Mixed Martial Arts for all skill levels. We teach in a fun and friendly environment that enables students to develop their skills with no pressure. Classes consist of a warmup and drilling session, followed by instructional, and ending off with time for sparring or for practice.

BJJ promotes the concept that a person can successfully defend against any assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground. BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments and in self-defense situations. Jiu Jitsu sparring (commonly referred to as rolling) and live drilling play a major role in training for most Mixed Martial Arts fighters.

Our youth program utilizes the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a vehicle to build discipline, self-confidence, self- control, respect and teamwork. Physically, our programs focus on developing your child’s fitness including coordination, balance, body awareness, strength and flexibility while building a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
